Sportsman's Paradise is one of several defunct bait and tackle stores near Cave Run Lake. It is located on 1274 beside the Bangor boat ramp, near the Rowan-Menifee county line.

This is my parent's old store. We ran it for years. After my dad had a stroke that paralyzed him on the left side, mom tried to sell it several times. No one ever stayed for long. Thanks for sharing. I have lots of great memories of that place. :)
I can remember stopping here with my Dad when we'd go fishing :D We'd buy bait and cold Mt. Dews in the glass bottles. Thanks for letting us know who owned it! Any stories to share about the place?
